My View after Learning Critical Literacy

Question: You have almost completed this semester, so, how do you view Critical Literacy now? If you have any comments and suggestions, please do so as it helps for the betterment of the course as a whole.

It seems like only yesterday that I am looking at my purple text book, thinking of how challenging this subject will be. I was afraid back then and honestly I still do now. I am afraid that I might not do well on this very subject. How do I view Critical Literacy? I do not know how to view it really since it makes me feel worst then before. I am not saying that this subject is bad, I am the one who needs to do better. I am not able to really understand The Rule of 10, and this will surely affect my assignments and VIVA presentation. Even by thinking about it now makes me feel like crying but I know well that it will not change anything. I only hope that I am able to pass this subject with flying color, at least a B if not an A. I may be too hopeful, but it is my target for this subject. I may be a semester 4 students, but I believed that I need to study more to achieve this level of critical thinking.

As comments for this subject, I think that this subject needed really needs a lot of attention to be given to and I found it hard to able to do that as there are other commitments that needing my attention. Still, it is my fault for not able to use my time wisely. Furthermore, some suggestions for this subject is that I hope, step by step on how to do the Rule of 10 is to be done, so that the students really understand about it so that they can do their assignments and VIVA presentation. Also, I once hope that at least there is one hour of the subject that focus on helping the students with their Rule of 10 assignments. This is because, even until now, I am not sure how to identify the stands of the author and how to be able to come out with premises.

Lastly, I still want to thank my Critical Literacy lecturer for having the patience to teach me this subject, I am sorry for not being able to master this subject but I am really thankful to be given the chance to learn it. Thank you for all the knowledge and time. Thank you for being my teacher.
