Question : Stereotyping is
exegerated generalizations associated with a categorizing system, they go
beyond the facts at hand and make claims that usually have no valid basis.
However, it is also something that most people find difficult to avoid from doing.
So, let's explore your sense of tendency to make generalizations by expanding
the following statement:
Women shouldn't be behind the
wheel...
The statement that women
shouldn’t be behind the wheel is totally true. Why? This topic is not something
uncommon to be discussed about. In every part of the world, where there is
cars, roads and traffics, you cannot avoid yourself from hearing people said
something on this matter. Women shouldn’t be behind the wheel means women
should not drive. Of course women should not drive; this is because women are
full of emotion. Moreover, women cannot focus on more than one thing at once.
Women are also afraid to take risk. How can women drive with all that haunting
them? Okay, maybe ‘haunting’ is a bit exaggerating but seriously, when they are
not with those conditions it may be alright for them to drive.
Often we heard someone says “Women are a bad driver”, and they are a bad
driver. Women are living female humans who are born with emotion. Well of course
men do too but women are bad at hiding their emotion or even controlling them.
Imagine women plus driving and not to forget emotion, would it a pretty image?
Never let emotional
women drive because they tend to focus on their emotion. They will not care
about everything around them unless there are happy. Emotion women are women
that are mad and grumpy or sad and pathetic. These women must be avoiding
from getting anywhere near cars or even kitchen. Imagine a sad woman driving
with tears running down her face and blinding her eyesight, is it not
dangerous? She might get herself into an accident and much worse if someone
else is involved. This is why women should not drive, because women are full of
emotion and negative emotion is not an option for them to be driving.
Furthermore, women should not drive because women cannot focus on more than one
thing at a time. While driving, our attention is needed 100% just to focus.
This is because, while driving we need to focus on our environment, so that we
will know what our next action is and with that only we can concentrate our
mind on driving. It explains a lot when mothers used to scold their children
who are being loud in the car while they are driving. How can the mother
concentrate if her children is whining and shouting next to her ears? She is
clearly disturbed by the noise, and tends to get worried about the children at
the same time about their own safety. This is why woman are bad at driving,
because her mind is always thinking and will instantly distracted. Moreover,
women are afraid of risks, because unlike women, men are better at changing
lane instantly without worries about other cars but women are not.
